| Content | A fine-leaved, relatively small, reddish to pink rather demanding stem plant. It is most decorative when planted in a group of many stems. It is also suitable as foreground plant and for smaller tanks, given that it is trimmed at the right time. The addition of CO2 enhances growth significantly. It prefers soft slightly acidic water.
Rotala wallichii is an elegant stem plant originating from soft, slightly acidic waters in South-Eastern Asia. Its inflorescence has bright purple flowers. Even though it is not quite easy in cultivation it is a highly popular plant.
R. wallichii needs lots of light, CO2 fertilisation and a well-balanced supply of nutrients to grow well. The light intensity should at least be 0.5 watts per litre in order for it to attain intensive colours and to support growth. A good supply of CO2, either with bio CO2 or a system using pressure bottles is indispensable. Rotala wallichii grows best if the nitrate level never falls to zero but does not exceed 10 to 15 mg per litre either. A high phosphate content of 1-2 mg per litre is preferred, as well as a good supply of iron and micronutrients.
Under optimal growth conditions this plant rewards its keeper with stunning colours, ranging from intense pink over orange to deep red foliage with a diameter of 2 cm and more.
This Rotala species forms opulent finely-structured groups growing upwards. Those plant parts closest to the surface develop the most intensive colours and throw a large number of lateral shoots. If R. wallichii grows too large for your tank design you can just cut off the uppermost part and re-plant it in the substrate. Propagation is done by cuttings of top and lateral shoots. They grow new roots very fast if re-planted in the substrate and start growing again.
Colourful R. wallichii is used in Nature Aquaria and in Dutch-style tanks. It is a great red accent plant for the middle- or background of an aquarium. In order to get the best effect, three to five stems should be planted at a time so they grow to form beautifully dense groups.

| Anubias nana gold is one of the beautiful variants of Anubias with yellow and green leaves. The special gold hue in the leaves makes it unique and brings amazing contrast with the green plants in the tank. Anubias is a great plant for beginners as it is easy to care for and maintain. If you are looking for a plant that can fill up the gaps and holes and is perfect for aquascaping, Anubias nana gold will be the right choice. Anubias belongs to the Araceae family. Basically, it is a dwarf variety of plants that can fulfil a lot of requirements of the tank. This plant is native to Africa; however, now it can be found in every part of the world. Aquarists show special interest in Anubias due to its hardiness and easy-to-care features. It grows easily in fully and partially submerged conditions.
Appearance: Anubias nana gold features yellow or lime-green leaves with a golden hue that makes it different from other variants of Anubias and aquarium plants. It can be used as a middle ground plant where it can get low to medium lighting. However, the plants thrive the best when attached to rockwork or driftwood. Under the excessive light condition, algae growth on the leaves is observed that make the plant look unattractive. Overview: Native to Southeast Asia, Ammania Sp.Bonsai is a fairly undemanding aquatic plant and is a great addition to aquascape, especially in nano - aquariums. Ideally, this plant is great as a mid-ground plant in freshwater aquariums, but when planted in groups, it can be grown specifically to form a dense carpet or bush.
Appearance: Ammania sp Bonsai is an upright herb with soft stems that can attain a height of 60 cm. The leaves are green on top and pinkish red in the bottom and are arranged in opposite whorls along the stem. The leaves are approximately 3 cm long, oblong or oval in shape with thick cartilaginous margins. The plant bears tiny pink flowers that have 4 petals each.

Ideal water temperature conditions: Ammania Sp Bonsai grows well in waters having temperatures between 22 and 27 degree Celsius.
Lighting conditions: Ammania Sp Bonsai prefers moderate to high lighting intensity and at least 3 to 5 gallon per gallon by full spectrum (5000 to 7000K) bulbs.
