For ADA’s Soil Amazonia Ver.2 100% natural black soil is used as raw material. It is perfect for creating an underwater landscape that is very close to the South American rainforest. It offers a high humic and nutrient content and is also suitable for harder tap water.
A high pH value of the soil substrate makes it difficult for aquatic plants to absorb nutrients. Substrates from the Aqua Soil series reduce the hardness of the water and lower the pH to a level where most aquatic plants can absorb the nutrients they need for thriving. The enclosed Amazonia Supplement improves the nutrient situation of the soil even further, so that the plants have particularly excellent growth conditions at their disposal. The Aqua Soil granules retain their shape and density under water for a long time, thus ensuring the circulation of water and oxygen through the substrate. The Aqua Soil substrate makes it easier to care for difficult-to-cultivate plants such as Tonina or Syngonanthus. It is also ideal for aquarium inhabitants who prefer soft water, such as Apistogramma and various species of dwarf shrimp.
The Amazonia Supplement is supplied in a special bag; 50 ml for the 9 litre version and 16 ml for the 3 litre version. The Soil can also be used without the supplement, and then behaves like the Aqua Soil – Amazonia II, which does not cause turbid water.

Shrimp Strata and Fluval Plant
Fluval Stratum, obtained from the mineral-rich slopes of Mount Aso Volcano in Japan, is a perfect substitute substrate for planted aquariums and those with shrimp.
promotes healthy plant development by allowing roots to quickly spread out and penetrate substrate to access essential nutrients.
| ADA Super 4 Aquarium Additive is now called Super Pour.
The pack contains ADA substrate additives in individual packets.
It is recommended to sprinkle the ADA Super 4 on a glass base before filling anything in order to promote the work of microorganisms and enhance the inefficiency of soil or decorative sand.
As the substrate cannot make a fresh start right after the setup, it is important to prepare the substrate in a nearly perfect condition at the time of the initial aquarium setup.
ADA Super 4 (Substrate Additives)
To promote the work of microorganisms, it is advised to sprinkle the following under the soil
Bacter 100
Has more than 100 kinds of substrate bacteria in a dormant state.
Sprinkling on the base substrate can make an ideal substrate environment.
It can suppress the growth of green algae. (By applying a bit of it to the affected portion)
Clear Super
A substrate additive made from activated carbon and organic acid.
Clear Super helps the growth of micro organisms.
Sprinkling on the base substrate, promotes the growth of micro organisms in the substrate and stabilizes the environment.
Tourmaline BC
Has fine bamboo charcoal, giving it the ability to absorb organic pollutant substances.
Add some over the substrate during the initial set-up and it will help to improve the substrate environment.

| Native of West Africa, Anubias Coffeefolia is a very attractive aquarium plant that can grow as tall as 12 inches when the right water parameters are provided to it. It belongs to the family Araceae. With a slow to moderate growth rate, you can easily maintain Anubias Coffeefolia in your freshwater aquarium and make the tank look lush green. This plant flowers frequently underwater, making the tank look even more beautiful. You can plant Anubias Coffeefolia in aquariums as well as terrariums in both submerged and emersed conditions. While propagating, keep the rhizomes about the substrate, or else the plant may begin to rot. It is undemanding and can grow in almost all types of conditions, therefore perfect for the beginners too. Appearance: Anubias Coffeefolia has green leaves with a ruffled texture that can grow as long as 3 inches. When the leaves are young, they are bronze-colored but eventually turn green with time. With the long leaves, Anubias Coffeefolia is considered perfect for growing as a mid-ground or background plant. When the rhizomes of this plant are attached to hard surfaces like wood or stones, it shows the best growth. Regular fertilization and additional carbon dioxide will enhance the overall growth of Anubias Coffeefolia, with the result of which the plant will show robust growth. Hard/Soft Plant: It is a strong and hardy plant that can grow well in all types of environments. Ideal water temperature: Anubias Coffeefolia can thrive well in the temperature range of 20 to 28 degrees Celsius. Lightning conditions: Low light conditions are just perfect for the growth of Anubias Coffeefolia. Ideal pH level: pH within the range of 6 to 7.5 is considered the best for Anubias Coffeefolia. Do you know: It is advised not to bury the rhizomes as it will cause the plant to melt and die. Also, being a slow grower, the leaves become susceptible to algae growth. So, do not place the plant under high lighting conditions. | DescriptionADA Bio Rio Filter Media 2 LtrIt is the basic of biological filtration. With live bacteria on Bio Rio, Biological filtration starts quickly after the initial setup. Mainly made of pumice stone with a porous surface, which is ideal environment for beneficial bacteria to colonize. It also enables long, stable filtration. The nitrifying process of bacteria is the most important phase in Nature Aquarium filtration systems. In this process, toxic ammonia or nitrous acid are decomposed and become harmless. Bio Rio, composed of volcanic stones, provides the ideal home for a long term and stable colonization of bacteria and maintains the conditions of aquarium water. IMPORTANT: *DO NOT WASH THE BIO RIO BEFORE USE.
| Aquarium Soil is used for planning a new aquarium. It is a complete bottom layer, which can be used without any other types of bottom layer – see how to use it here. Aquarium Soil is a complete bottom layer, which can be used without any other types of bottom layer The grain size of 2-3 mm makes it easy for planting Aquarium Soil ensures proper growth and stimulates red colours How to use the product Aquarium Soil ensures good and active growth from the beginning, and boosts the red plant shades. It is a complete substrate, which can be used without any other types of bottom layer. Aquarium Soil is further an active bottom layer that lowers the pH value and slightly affects the water chemistry. We recommend that you change 25-50% of the water min. twice a week during the first 4 weeks after establishing the aquarium. How do I calculate the quantity of Soil or Soil Powder needed for my tank? Measure your tank’s length and width in cm, for example 90 x 60 cm. Consider the thickness of the bottom layer you want, e.g. 8 cm. Make the layer thicker towards the rear wall for a great visual effect! The calculation to do is length x width x layer divided by 1000. In our example, 90 x 60 x 8/1000 = 43,2 L Soil/Soil Powder needed. |
