AQUAFOREST Red Boost is a professional formula composed from selected micronutrients and phytohormones stimulating red coloring of plants. The green color of leaves is conditioned by presence of chlorophyll. Red aquatic plants also contain other pigments such as xanthophylls, carotenoids, anthocyanins, and flavonoids. These give the plant shades of red, violet, and orange. Specific-purpose fertilization is necessary in order to bring out natural red coloring of plants. The content of phytohormones further enhances growth and development of plants. Carefully prepared AF Red Boost formula delivers all ingredients needed for a healthy look, impressive vivid plant coloring.
HOW TO USE:
In the aquarium: for average amount of plants: 4 drops of AF Red Boost per 100 liters of water daily; for large amount of plants: 8 drops of AF Red Boost per 100 l of water daily.
Recommended : parallel use with AF Macro.

High quality activated carbon granulate. Removes undesirable chemicals in aquariums, thus improving clarity of water. Recommended use of AF Carbon is only temporarily and for a short time, e.g. after treatment of fish, in the case of undesired residue in the tank or in the process of maturation of the aquarium. Thanks to the specially steam activated carbon, AF Carbon does not contain phosphate, is porous and, therefore, has a higher absorption capacity.
HOW TO USE:
Place in filter basket for 72 hours. After recommended time remove from the basket. Up to 600 l. We do not recommend the use of AF Carbon permanently as it may remove necessary elements from the water. Only for aquatic purposes. Keep in a cool place away from light and children. | These super biochemical sponge filters are great for keeping your aquarium clean. The filter provides mechanical and biological filtration for easy aquarium maintenance. As a mechanical filtration, it uses the air-driven system to create suction that allows the sponge to capture floating particles in the water and return filtered water to the tank. As a biological filtration, harmful wastes are biologically transformed into a relatively harmless substance by aerobic bacteria that accumulates in the sponge.
These sponges are perfect for Discus breeding tanks, small tropical fish tanks and fry stock tanks.
To use:
- Before use, soak the bio-foam in aquarium water for 5 mins.
- During maintenance, always rinse the bio-foam with drained out aquarium water only. No tap water or hot water should be used at all.
- When re-using the bio-foam, squeeze the foam in the water to remove all trapped air bubbles. This will keep the filter stray submerged.
- We at Aquacadabra recommend replacing the bio-foam every 6 months, to ensure the filtering effect as well as the growth of the nitrifying bacteria.
