Content | PRODUCT INFO:
A specialist ion exchange resin designed for use in freshwater aquariums. Dedicated primarily to heavily stocked aquariums, struggling with the problem of elevated nitrates. Dedicated for the chemical absorption of nitrogen compounds dissolved in water. It works selectively, effectively absorbing nitrates from water without affecting the level of minerals necessary for aquatics life. Removes harmful compounds from the water, reduces the frequency of water changes and prevents the growth of algae.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- Absorbs harmful nitrogen compounds
- Clarifies the water
- Supports battling algae
- Doesn’t affect essential minerals
HOW TO USE:
125 ml is enough for purifying 400 liters of water. Place the resin in a fine-mesh filter bag and then place it in the filter basket with a constant flow of water. Dark brown discoloration of the product indicates it’s wear . The packet should then be replaced or regenerated. Regeneration can be done with chlorine-containing bleach. Regeneration should be carried out in a 50% bleach solution for approx. 6 hours. After that, rinse the resin thoroughly and leave it in clean water for about 24 hours. |
AQUAFOREST RED BOOST | 200ML
Color enhancing composition of carefully selected micro & macro elements for red aquatic plants
AQUAFOREST Red Boost is a professional formula composed from selected micronutrients and phytohormones stimulating red coloring of plants. The green color of leaves is conditioned by presence of chlorophyll. Red aquatic plants also contain other pigments such as xanthophylls, carotenoids, anthocyanins, and flavonoids. These give the plant shades of red, violet, and orange. Specific-purpose fertilization is necessary in order to bring out natural red coloring of plants. The content of phytohormones further enhances growth and development of plants. Carefully prepared AF Red Boost formula delivers all ingredients needed for a healthy look, impressive vivid plant coloring.
HOW TO USE:
In the aquarium: for average amount of plants: 4 drops of AF Red Boost per 100 liters of water daily; for large amount of plants: 8 drops of AF Red Boost per 100 l of water daily.
Recommended : parallel use with AF Macro.
WARNING :
- Absorbents such as zeolite and/or carbon may reduce effectiveness of the formula.
- Only for aquatic purposes.
- Protect from sunlight.
- Keep at room temperature in a tightly closed container, keep out of reach of children.
| ADA BRIGHTY K
- BRIGHTY K is a liquid fertilizer supplying potassium to planted aquariums. BRIGHTY K also has an effect of enhancing the buffering capacity of water and prevents a decline in pH of aquarium water.
- *This product does not remove residual chlorine.
Brighty K is a liquid fertilizer supplying potassium to planted aquarium. When potassium is insufficient, the photosynhesis activity and growth of aquatic plants are affected and this can cause yellowing and bleaching of leaves as well as lower resinstance to algae. Daily application of Brighty K to the aquarium improves these problems and promotes healthy growth of aquatic plants. Brighty K also has an affect of enhancing the buffering capacity of water and prevents decline in pH of aquarium water.
Usage
For supplementation of potassium, apply one push(1ml) of BRIGHTY K for every 20l of aquarium water daily. It is effective to add Green Brighty K when the lighting is on. If there is a large amount of aquatic plants in the tank, increase the amount to approximately 2-3 times the standard dose.
Cautions
- Nutrients other than potassium are also needed for healthy growth of aquatic plants. Use Green Brighty Mineral for trace element supplementation, Green Brighty Iron for Iron supplementation and Green Brighty Nitrogen for nitrogen supplementation,
- Do not mix with other liquid fertilizer to prevent change in property.
- Brighty K is strongly alkaline. The pH of aquarium water may rise temporarily immediately after this product is applied, but it will eventually return to the original level.
- Excessive application of Brighty K may have a negative impact on shrimps such as Cardina Japonica and can result in the death in the worst case. When increasing the amount og Brighty K, closely observe the shrimps during the application. If abnormal reaction is observed, perform water change immediately.
- In the event of skin contact, immediately wash with tap water.
- Avoid high temperature amd direct sunlight. Keep in a cool and dark place.

Nutrient rich, peat & clay based substrate base for aquascapes & planted aquariums.
AQUAFOREST Natural Substrate is a nutrient rich, peat and clay based substrate base for aquascapes and planted aquariums. Readily available micronutrients and plant food within it create a fertile, nature-like environment, ideal for long-time plant support and growth. AF Natural Substrate is well suited for the development of a healthy root system, and to help aquatic plants thrive. The peat and clay natural Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) will also absorb any excess nutrients from the water, and either make them available through the roots, or release them back into the water once it becomes depleted. Features and benefits: The carefully selected peat creates excellent conditions for the root system, and supplies plants with all the necessary minerals and trace elements. Clay improves the texture, and acts as the base, achieving excellent consistency. Similarly to peat – clay acts as a natural layer for storing excess nutrients, and maintaining biological balance in the tank. Micronutrient contents have been supplemented under laboratory supervision to make sure that aquatic plants have an abundance of trace elements, while the chemical balance of the tank stays in check.
WARNING:
AF Natural Substrate is rich in micro-nutrients, so for the first three months Aquaforest do not recommend the use of fertilizers containing micro-nutrients, unless the plants show visible signs of deficiency.
HOW TO USE:
- Spread the substrate on the bottom of the tank and compact it to achieve approx. 2-2.5 cm thick layer.
- Cover with about 3cm of gravel or sand.
- Gently fill aquarium with about 15 cm of water. In order to avoid disturbing the substrate, we suggest placing a plate or dish on the bottom, and directing the stream of water on to it.
- Place the plants in the substrate.
- Fill the aquarium with water.
10 L of AF Natural Substrate should be sufficient for a 200 L aquarium with a 100 cm x 40 cm bottom. Substrate can lower and stabilize the pH of the water, therefore it is recommended to use a dedicated test or probe. | AF Anti Phosphate is a high-quality phosphate adsorption media designed for use in freshwater aquariums. An aquarium with unbalanced nitrate and phosphate levels can lead to the development of cyanobacteria and nuisance red algae. AF Anti Phosphate media helps to keep these nutrients in balance without affecting vitamins and crucial micronutrients in your system.
- Filter media for eliminating phosphates from the aquarium
- Great for red algae and cyanobacteria management
- Recommended for lightly planted tanks, overstocked tanks, and Malawi an Tanganyika biotope tanks
- Promotes clear water and optimal conditions for plant growth
Use:
- Place in filter basket
- Use 50mL of product per 100L of fresh water
